Apply to attend a school other than your neighborhood school for the 2022-2023 school year. The application window open October 25, 2021 and close January 21, 2022.
Why Edna Travis Elementary
Travis provides its students with an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program. The IB program is inquiry-based and focuses on six core subjects. The students learn language, math, science, social studies, arts and personal, social and physical education. Teachers use interdisciplinary units to teach topics. Travis also focuses on character development and creating learners who are: inquirers, knowledgeable, thinkers, communicators, principled, open-minded, caring, risk-takers, balanced and reflective. Travis students may continue their IB education at Wainwright Intermediate School or Giaudrone Middle School. Or students have the option of attending their neighborhood school.
